Looking back now it was nothing special, but than it was beautiful and exciting. The shady drive and the pretty lake. Now I see that what was really beautiful and exciting was the thought of moving into a place with the man I love, having him come home to me every night.
What we used to do at Broadmoor Apartments. I would rush home from working with my Dad. (He owned his own Handyman business) We usually worked in St Pete so I had to battle the Tampa traffic every night. I would try to jump in the shower and get cleaned up and smelling nice and dinner started before Jacob got home. He usually got home around 5:30 or 6. We would eat dinner and watch a show or two before he was off to the computer to start his homework. After that maybe another show or two and sometimes a walk. We lived right by Busch Gardens so we would sometimes go there right before it closed and ride all the rides.

Our weekends were spent mostly in Ybor. We loved to go to the movies so we would go to Westshore a lot to see movies, but we quickly found out that that's where all the middle and high school kids loved to go too. So we stumbled across Muvico in Ybor and that became our weekend home. We would head down there after Jacob got off work and eat at Fresh Mouth, get a milk shake to go, walk around Metropolitan Deluxe and than head to the movies.
Our Sundays were spent at our awesome church in Brandon. Our good friends Russ and Brooke along with their good friends Dan and Rebecka started Covenant Community Fellowship Church in 2005 and Jacob and I were so excited to be apart of this new church. It was fill with mostly people our age. We made some great friends at that church. Jacob played on the worship team so we would get there around 8:30 so they could practice after practice we had coffee and donuts and hang out than service and lunch with family and or friends. I loved that church!
It may not seem like an exciting start to our new life together, but It was for us. We loved every minute of it.
